Spring Season 2026

Registration is open for our spring season starting April 2026.
BBA’s Catchment Boundaries
for Co-Ed Program (Boys and Girls) and All Girls Program

If you’re registering for our co-ed program (i.e. boys and girls) or all girls program, please check if your residential address resides within BBA’s catchment i.e. in the “red” area on the map below. Click on the map and enter your address or zoom in to locate your address.

With the exception of 18UAAA and College Prep, BC Minor Baseball requires all players play in their local association. If you live outside

Baseball Boundaries and want to play on a BBA team (other than 18U CP), you will need a release from your home association. A release may be granted or refused by your local association for any reason and the decision may change from one year to the next.

If you want to play on BBA's 18U College Prep team and live outside the BBA boundaries, you are required to notify your home association and the BBA President at [email protected] of your intention by email only. A BC Minor Tryout Release Form is not required at the 18U College Prep level. If you are not selected for the team, you will need to return to your home association to play 18U AA (or get a release to play 18U AA with BBA).

If you're trying out for BBA's 15U AA or 13UAA team, BC Minor Baseball rules permit teams to roster up to 3 players from outside their association's catchment area. If you are not selected for the Travel team, you will need to return to your home association to play.

BBA welcomes out of catchment players to try out. If you're out of catchment, please complete the following:

If you are trying out for BBA's 13UAA or 15UAA Travel Teams, the BC Minor Baseball "Player Tryout Release" must be completed and approved prior to registering to try out for a Travel Team. If you are trying out for the 18U College Prep Travel Team, you are required to notify your Home Association and the President at [email protected] of your intention prior to registering.
Burnaby Baseball Association offers a wide variety of BC Minor ball programs for various levels of play, including 18U College Prep, 5U - 26U, and Challenger.

For girls, we offer 2 options: Valkyries (ALL-GIRLS TEAMS), or CO-ED (playing with boys and girls)

ALL-GIRLS TEAMS
We will be offering the option for female athletes to play on an all-female team if they choose in 2026.  Female athletes will be asked if they would like to play on an all-girls team if the option exists for their age level.  If we are not able to offer this option, players will be given the option of being placed on a coed team or refunded their registration.

Our goal is to provide programming for girls in a fun, positive and supportive environment.  Visit our Valkyries page for more information on our Valkyries program.

2026 Mandatory Player Evaluations for 9U and 11U will be held Sunday, March 8th 9-12pm at Scotiabarn on the turf field.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your assigned session to check in.
  • Bring glove, runners (not cleats), water bottle, batting helmet, and protective equipment.  Bats will be available for use or players are welcome to bring their own.

Everyday is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is."
