Saturday (May 9) is BBA’s Opening Day celebration, and we’re looking forward to a fun-filled day for everyone at Kensington fields!
Here are the details for the day:
Arrival Time
All players and families should arrive at the park by 9:45 AM.

Team Meet-Up
Players should meet their teams near the playground area (by K3).

Parade & Ceremony
The player parade will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the singing of O Canada and our official opening ceremony.

MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Event (Fields #1 and #4)

• Open to players ages       7–14
• Pre-registration is required
• The team with the highest participation will receive a pizza party (Only available to a BBA  team)
• Top players in each age division will receive a Blue Jays prize pack (Only available to a BBA player)

Carnival Games + Bouncy Castles + Bat Demos

• $20 wristband for unlimited access
  
  

10:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Dunk Your Coach

• 3 balls for $10 or 10       balls for $20
• Coaches are needed for the dunk tank. Please see your division coordinator email to register for a 15 minute spot.

Photo Day
Team and individual photos will take place  Saturday between 8:45am and 12:30pm. A detailed schedule will be shared via your division coordinator and entered in  team snap.

Register today for MLB Pitch, Hit and Run! All players ages 7-14 are eligible to register for free and play at Kensington Ballpark on Saturday May 9th 2026, 10:00am to 2:00pm.  Team Championship Finalists with the highest scores across the leaderboard will WIN an all-expenses paid trip for themselves and one guardian to compete at the MLB Pitch Hit & Run Finals during the 2026 WORLD SERIES!!!

Looking for volunteer opportunities? Fence set up and the scorekeeper clinic will count towards association hours.
